THE REAL HERO !

Though I enjoy watching good television shows and movies on TV, yet my professional commitments restrains me from doing so.  When in the evening every one return to their homes from their workplaces, it is the time  for me to get back to my work .

No regrets AS MY FIRST LOVE IS MY WORK, MY DUTY- “DUTY TO SERVE MY PATIENTS”. My commitment towards medical profession precludes me watching TV shows and serials.

Frankly speaking I don’t fancy watching “ Sas –Bahu Zamela”  I love watching sensible and informative TV shows discovery or national geographic, ZEE Marathi or sometimes any good movie.

Other day after dinner when I was enjoying my favorite channel ZEE MARATHI I came to know that the “DR PRAKASH BABA AMTE- THE REAL HERO” movie praised by all was going to be broadcasted after two days in the evening. Somehow I missed the opportunity to watch the biopic on “THE REAL HERO” on a big screen.

But this time I never wanted to miss the golden opportunity watching it on small screen. So I decided to take a leave on the day of telecast of that movie.

About The Movie –

“ DR PRAKASH BABA AMTE- THE REAL HERO” -

The movie tales the life story of DR PRAKASH AMTE (THE SON OF BABA AMTE WHO DEDICATED ALL HIS LIFE FOR THE PATIENTS SUFFERING FROM LEPROSY)  and his wife Dr MRS MANDAKINI AMTE and  their continuous efforts for the upliftment of the tribals in the Hemalkasa in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. His contribution to society is immeasurable.

Just like his father, DR PRAKASH AMTE also had dreamt to serve the poor and the oppressed masses of the society. Unlike other doctors who would choose cozy lifestyle and practice in big metros,  DR PRAKASH AMTE choose to work in tribal areas of Hemalkasa and served tribals.

The eye opener was a trip to Hemalkasa with his father (BABA),  after completing his MBBS degree. He became restless seeing the pathetic life of tribals in the era, where people on the other side of the earth had already reached the moon, and when india is aspiring to be Super power, there were people living like animals. They use to hunt and sleep under the tree without medical facilities, proper housing and education. 

DR PRAKASH AMTE went there to treat them and became a part of them. AND THEN THE STORY BIGINS there in the dense forest of Hemalkasa.

He was not alone in this mission. His lovable, better half DR MANDAKINI (who was his classmate in medical college) and trusted and devoted team of like-minded individuals had joined his hands. 

The path was difficult, and long ranged. They struggle with tribals, wild animals, Naxalites and corrupt government officials. But overcoming every obstacle and sometimes bypassing them Dr Prakash Amte and him team achieved their goal. Today, after years of struggle, Hemalkasa has become “A paradise (NANDANVAN)"- an example to the world "how good can won evil".

There are many people who just live for themselves with their luxurious lifestyle and there are very few who lived for others. They work with passion towards making the world a better place to live in. DR PRAKASH AMTE IS ONE OF THEM. The couple offered selfless service for the sake of humanity.

Nana Patekar (In the lead role of DR PRAKASH AMTE) and Sonali Kulakrni (as Dr Mrs. MANDAKII AMTE) were the best as usual. The supporting cast also did their best.

The story itself is a great and inspirational for youngsters. Many people just talk about development but very few people actually work for people who are oppressed and under-privileged. Indian society needs REAL HEROS like DR PRAKASH AMTE.

THE BIOPIC ON DR PRAKASH AMTE definitely inspires true Indian and sets an example for those who are determined help the poor and oppressed section of the society, despite of hurdles and obstacles. 

“DR PRAKASH BABA AMTE- THE REAL HERO” is THE MUST WATCH MOVIE. The message of humanity,  patriotism and positive thinking  goes to the viewer in clear words. In my opinion youngster must watch this movie again and again.

I would like to watch this movie number of times. The movie had positive impact on my mind. Watching it again and again will keep me consciously awaken within and will lead me to the path of humanity, patriotism and charity.

I would really like to record the movie with the help of TATA SKY TRANSFER and will transfer it to my laptop and android so that I can watch it again and again  whenever I need inspirational thoughts.
